In accordance with the City of Point Russell Municipal Ordinance 123 pertaining to the subject of City Utility Rates, a monthly base facility charge shall be billed for service availability to each individually metered residential, commercial, sprinkler, multiple family account including mobile home parks serviced by a master meter. If sprinkler service is provided by a connection to the city’s water distribution system which also provides for the domestic or general water use, then no additional base facility charge will be imposed. If the sprinkler service represents a separate and distinct connection to the city’s water distribution system, the commercial service and sprinkler service base facility charges shall apply.
To initiate utility service, a $45.00 non-refundable application fee, along with the required deposit and supporting documentation is required to begin the Utility Service Account opening process.
Please contact Utilities Customer Service at 555-555-5555 to obtain your required deposit amount and to confirm the type of utility services provided at the property. Some properties are serviced for both water and sewer, while others are serviced for water only. Deposit amounts are based on the size of the meter at the property and are outlined below.
In addition, applicants may be required to satisfy any outstanding or unpaid utility account balances associated with the applicant or with other customers at the service address within the City of Point Russell prior to service activation.
